I love to cook. When we have people over, I very often decide to whip up a batch of dumplings/wontons/gyoza/whatever you prefer to call them; it used to be eggrolls, but a few of those will fill you up, while it's much easier to munch on gyoza all night while enjoying beers and company.

This entry is titled in mocking 'homage' to a film I did not like at all. So if you don't know what it refers to, or if you know but haven't seen it... and if you value the advice of some jerk on the internet... avoid it. You're not missing anything.
Just wanted to get this out there; it's a recipe I've been using for a long time, based on something I saw on Food Network combined with some recipes I found online and a lot of improvisation and iteration. This is one of my favorite dishes.
